Two of the original West End queens of Six the Musical are taking their crowning glory over on Broadway.
Aimie Atkinson (Katherine Howard) and Natalie May Paris (Jane Seymour) will be reigning at the Lena Horne Theatre from August 17. While Aimie, who is currently starring in Beetlejuice the Musical, will play her final Six performance at the matinee of October 31, Natalie will depart on December 13.
They join Khaila Wilcoxon and Olivia Donalson, who continue in their respective roles as Catherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleves. Further cast for the period will be confirmed.
Aimie and Natalie have an incredible her-story with Six the Musical, with both queens featuring on the cast recording and originating in their roles during the Edinburgh Fringe and in the West End. Both queens, alongside their fellow cast members Jarneia Richard-Noel, Millie O’Connell, Alexia Macintosh, and Maiya Quansah-Breed, were nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical.
They have since starred in the cinematic release of the musical, which saw the original London queens reunite once more. Natalie also joined the cast of the Six Aragon Tour in the US as Jane Seymour in 2023, touring the West Coast and making her US debut.
Written by Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow, Six the Musical is based on the wives of Henry VIII as they battle to see who had the worst life at the hands of the King. Each queen gets a chance to tell her story with the aim of reclaiming the narrative.
The hit musical continues to enjoy success globally, with fans being able to enjoy the show in the West End, across the UK, on Broadway, and in North America, Australia, and Germany.
