Delta Goodrem Unveils Empowering New Single ‘Hologram’ Ahead of Upcoming Album ‘Pure’

Delta Goodrem is continuing her latest creative chapter with the release of ‘Hologram’, a soaring pop anthem that offers another glimpse into her forthcoming album, ‘Pure’.

The new single arrives as the Australian singer-songwriter builds momentum internationally following a landmark year that included her widely praised performance of ‘Eclipse’ at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. Goodrem has also recently signed a new global deal with Universal Music, Better Now Records, and Electrola, marking a significant step in the next phase of her career.

Built around themes of clarity, self-trust, and authenticity, ‘Hologram’ finds Goodrem reflecting on the difference between illusion and reality.

“A hologram allows you to see the same image from different angles, and that became the spark for the song,” Delta says via a press release. “‘Hologram’ is about that moment when someone, or something, suddenly comes into focus. It’s about seeing beyond the promises, the fantasy and the smoke and mirrors, and finding strength in what is real.”

She adds that the song reflects her current outlook both personally and professionally.

“At this stage of my life and career, I’m drawn to transparency and authenticity,” she says. “For me, it’s about having the wisdom to see beyond the illusion, while still dancing in the magic of it all.”

The track follows ‘Eclipse’, which introduced listeners to the sonic direction of ‘Pure’. The single became one of Goodrem’s strongest recent successes, reaching No. 1 on Australia’s AIR Independent Singles Chart and landing inside the ARIA Top 20 Australian Artist Singles Chart following its Eurovision run.

Interestingly, Goodrem revealed that ‘Hologram’ and ‘Eclipse’ were written during the same studio session.

“We actually wrote ‘Hologram’ on the very same day as ‘Eclipse’,” she says. “We were having so much fun in the studio. This song started with my songwriters and me late at night, surrounded by pianos, guitars and instruments, picking them up, singing harmonies and following wherever the music wanted to take us.”

The singer also pointed to classic Eurovision-inspired pop influences that helped shape the track, citing a renewed appreciation for decades of competition history, including the enduring impact of ABBA.

While ‘Eclipse’ leaned into a more cinematic and emotional sound, Goodrem describes ‘Hologram’ as its lighter counterpart.

‘Hologram’ felt like its carefree friend,” she says. “Playful, colourful and completely alive.”

With ‘Pure’ on the horizon, ‘Hologram’ further signals a confident new era for one of Australia’s most successful pop exports – one that balances stadium-sized hooks with a renewed emphasis on creative freedom and self-discovery.
