Now that Hayley confirmed she is pregnant, Beyond the Gates fans debate who will have custody of the baby once it is born. So with Hayley not shy about saying she doesn’t want this kid, who will end up with Bill and Hayley’s baby?
Right now Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings) sees a big payday by selling her baby to Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett). She’s made it clear to Randy Parker (Maurice P. Kerry) that she wants nothing to do with raising the kid, despite how Bill could set her up with child support for the next 18 years. But Bill has other ideas, which he already mentioned to Dani.
Beyond the Gates: Hayley Sees Dollar Signs
Randy has a solution to Hayley’s money problems. Since her prenup money is almost gone, she will soon be broke. But Randy told her how she could be living a life of luxury on child support. And there’s even a cure for her disliking children—nannies. Randy told Hayley she would have enough money to hire a slew of nannies, with Bill paying her child support.
But despite Randy painting a picture for Hayley where she would have tons of free time with nannies on board and paid for by Bill, she won’t bite. Instead, she wants complete freedom away from her baby.
Hayley’s idea is to sell the baby, with all parental rights, to Bill. She already has an idea of the price. She said she will demand Bill pay enough money to “make that 10 million dollar life insurance policy (the one she was cheated out of) look like pocket change.” Hayley makes it sound easy, but this is Beyond the Gates, and nothing goes that smoothly. A lot can happen by the time that baby is born, including a change of heart for Bill or even Hayley.
Baby Vs. Revenge…
Hayley thinks Bill wants a baby more than he wants revenge. So, she also believes that once he is convinced this is his baby, he will be willing to do most anything to have custody. Plus she thinks her life would be protected from Joey and his cohorts because she is pregnant with Bill’s child.
Bill has no chance at proving Hayley an unfit mother after she tried to poison him. He’s dropped all charges and somehow made them disappear, so he doesn’t have a leg to stand on there. Bill being awarded custody would have been pretty cut and dry if Beyond the Gates scripted Hayley where she belonged—in jail.
BTG: Daddy Bill and Mommy Dani?
Bill is looking at a long road now that his baby is on the way. Many fans think Bill and Dani Dupree-Richardson (Karla Mosley) will end up back together at some point down the line. Neither one of them can stop thinking about the other with romantic undertones involved.
The last thing Dani might imagine today is raising Hayley and Bill’s baby in the future, but stranger things have happened on soaps. It seems obvious that Andre loves Dani more than she loves him, even though she is doing her best to disguise it.
So, Dani and Bill could end up back together, and this would likely mean raising Bill and Hayley’s child if the baby sale goes through as Hayley plans. Still, Bill confided in Dani last week that he will make sure this child has everything—but he doesn’t want to be part of Hayley’s child’s life.
Dani’s take on Bill and this baby is the total opposite. She thinks that he will love the child just like he did their daughters. So, maybe Bill ends up with Dani in the future, and maybe that means she ends up raising the baby as well. Or, Dani could also feel the opposite of Bill about becoming a parent to Hayley’s kid.
If it comes to Dani and Bill getting back together, maybe Dani won’t agree to raise Bill and Hayley’s offspring. So, it could get to a point where Bill has to pick between Dani and his baby. But there might be a way for him to have both.
Beyond the Gates: Hayley’s Baby Kept In the Family?
Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Naomi Hamilton-Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) freak when they learn they are about to become big sisters. Both women are in committed relationships and at an age to start a family, so maybe the soap will use a twist of fate and have one of these sisters adopt Hayley’s child.
If this baby gets in the way of Dani going back to Bill, maybe one of his daughters will step up. This way Bill could have both Dani and the baby, even though the baby would be raised by one of his daughters. But Naomi and Jacob’s marriage is on the skids, so maybe Chelsea and Madison?
Randy thinks it is horrible for Hayley to sell her baby to Bill. So, he likely keeps pushing for the scheme of child support and nannies for Hayley’s future. Plus, he sees it as an insurance policy to keep Hayley alive against a violent Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).
Since Leslie Thomas’ (Trisha Mann-Grant) story with Eva is similar to Hayley’s new plot in life, Leslie may also push for Hayley to raise the kid some time soon on Beyond the Gates.
BTG: Motherhood Changes Hayley?
But something else could happen. Hayley could take one look at her baby and find it hard to part with her infant. Maybe this baby brings a change in this mother-to-be. While it would take a long time for anyone else to believe that Hayley has changed, Bill might see it sooner than the rest of the people in his circle.
If Bill sees a changed Hayley, he might give her another chance and move her into his house. This would give him another go at a family. But he’d be up against a bunch of angry people if he got back together with his murderous ex-wife.
It sounds like a lot is banking on Hayley giving birth to a son, as Bill already has two daughters. This week on the soap Hayley mentioned to Randy just how much Bill would love to have a son. So, if this is the case, would Bill give it another try if he believes Hayley has changed?
So, Beyond the Gates has a blank canvas to paint Hayley’s future. And there is also another possibility. If she demands an extravagant amount of money from Bill to sell him their baby, she could be in danger.
Bill would likely get custody of the baby if something happened to Hayley, so she might finally realize this. That would make Randy’s plan of child support the safer way to go. Who knows, Hayley might change and become a good mother, which no one expects.
So, depending on Hayley’s mindset when this baby is born, the possibilities are plentiful when it comes to who will end up raising this baby. Only time will tell on Beyond the Gates.
