British girl group XO are turning up the heat ahead of the release of their debut mini-album ‘Need To Know’ with a month-long London residency that promises fresh music, rising talent and intimate fan experiences.
The feisty five-piece have announced ‘XO PRESENTS…’, a series of free shows taking over London’s Colours throughout August. Designed as a platform for emerging artists as well as a celebration of the capital’s thriving pop scene, the residency will also give fans their very first chance to hear unreleased tracks from ‘Need To Know’, which lands on October 16th via Polydor Label Group.
The announcement follows the release of the band’s latest single, ‘Clique’, a glossy, attitude-packed anthem that pairs XO with hitmaker Ryan Tedder and alt-pop favourite Willow Kayne. Blending razor-sharp harmonies, punchy production and a distinctly British sense of humour, the track marks another confident step forward for one of the UK’s fastest-rising pop acts.
Its accompanying video leans into the group’s own story, returning to the audition room where the members first met just 18 months ago. Featuring original Polaroids from those early days, the visual juxtaposes their beginnings with the slick choreography and self-assured aesthetic that defines this new ‘Need To Know’ era.

Speaking about the residency, member Zoe Miller said: “This is somewhere you can come if you just want to let your hair down or let your ponytail swing… to meet new people, have a party and find your new favourite artists.”
The ‘XO PRESENTS…’ shows will be free to attend on a first-come, first-served basis for fans aged 14 and over, reflecting the band’s ambition to build an accessible community around both their music and the next wave of UK talent.
Beyond the residency, XO’s live schedule continues to expand. The group will make appearances at London’s legendary G-A-Y Heaven on August 8th, September 5th and October 17th, before heading out on a UK headline tour in November. The run concludes with their biggest hometown performance yet at O2 Academy Islington on November 3rd, capping off what is shaping up to be a breakthrough year for the quintet as they prepare to introduce ‘Need To Know’ to the world.
