Jodie Turner-Smith is enjoying some quality time with her daughter, Juno.
The actress, 39, recently shared a glimpse of their “dreamy” getaway to the West Indies on Instagram, posting a carousel of photos from their stay at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis. The images show the mother-daughter duo spending time at the beach, taking in scenic views, and enjoying the trip together.
“Dreamy days at @fsnevis #FSNevis,” Turner-Smith captioned the post.
One photo in particular caught fans’ attention. It featured Juno sharing a quiet moment with her father, Joshua Jackson.
“Love the Dad add. Our family is the same way. We always include the other parent in some way or another. Divorce can definitely be cordial with respect and done in love for the child/children,” one follower wrote.
Another commented, “Total respect for showing that your girl needs her dad in her life, but more importantly that her mum is both encouraging and respectful of that fact. You two are smashing it, and your daughter will thrive off the back of it.”
Turner-Smith and Jackson welcomed Juno in April 2020. After four years of marriage, Turner-Smith filed for divorce in October 2023. The former couple agreed to joint custody of their daughter and finalized their divorce in May 2025.
In an October 2024 interview with Glamour U.K., Turner-Smith spoke about the adjustment that comes with co-parenting.
“Nobody hands you a manual. Everyone’s trying to figure it out,” she said. She also praised her daughter, adding, “I said I wanted a brilliant, intelligent, sassy daughter, and here she is.”
Then, during an appearance on Hoda Kotb’s Joy 101 podcast in June, Turner-Smith shared how she and Jackson talk to Juno about their divorce.
“I’m a child of divorce myself, and so is my ex-husband,” she said. “So it’s always been important to think about, ‘Okay, what is the language around which we are going to talk about this with our daughter?’ Because it is her new reality.”
She said the goal is to make sure Juno knows she is loved in both homes.
“We’re learning as well and not always getting it totally right — but the idea is always two homes filled with love,” Turner-Smith said. “And I’m like, ‘You got two houses, girl.’”
Turner-Smith also shared that books have helped explain the changes to Juno.
“I read her so many books about divorce, about what that means. About what that new world is, about what is supposed to be happening, what’s not supposed to be happening,” she said. “Children’s books have been helpful as well.”
