Latto is embracing every moment of motherhood, even the sleepless nights.
During a recent interview with Capital Xtra, the rapper reflected on life with her baby daughter and revealed that one of her favorite parts of being a mom is waking up in the middle of the night to care for her.
“I wake up like when she want to eat or whatever, I wake up and I’ll be like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m a mom,’” Latto said. “And I just get this like biggest smile on my face and I’ll be running off of what two hours of sleep and she she wake me up crying. I would just be like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m so like I think waking up and still re rere realizing that I’m somebody mama.’ It’s like my favorite thing right now.”
While becoming a mom has lived up to everything she imagined, Latto admitted there was one part she wasn’t fully prepared for: childbirth.
“I went in with the intentions of an unmedicated water birth. Girl, please,” she recalled. “I got to 8 cm and was screaming like get me to this… and bring that epidural. So yeah, that’s the only thing that I wasn’t really expecting. I thought I had high pain tolerance.”

When asked if she sees more children in her future, the “Big Mama” artist admitted she’s still undecided.
“I don’t know. She’s so perfect. Like I would but then I’d be like that that day was it was the best day of my life but most painful day of my life too. So I don’t know. We got we got to wait for her to get a little older. Maybe we got to revisit that,” Latto said.
“I will say this. I’m either going to be one and done or I’m going to have a tribe. So like like five [or] six,” she continued.
“I really wanted a girl real bad. So I got what I wanted. I really could just check out. So we’ll see,” Latto added.
