Hey, Days of Our Lives fans, we have got your early spoilers for next week, which begins November 2nd, with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) cornered, because the laptop is in the cops’ hands and could implicate him. Plus, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is blindsided by her secret son traipsing into Salem.
There is a lot to talk about, with November sweeps kicking off tomorrow, Thursday, October 29th, and then kicking into high gear the week of November 2nd – 6th. And as we always do on early edition day, we are going to talk about what’s happening the rest of this week, and then we will talk about what’s happening next week as well. So let’s get into it.
Days of Our Lives: Johnny Confronts EJ
Wednesday, October 28th on Days of Our Lives, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) confronts his dad, EJ. It looks like Johnny is horrified to find out that George O’Halloran (Michael Rose) wound up dead and that he shot Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). And of course, Johnny knows there’s more trouble to come. And he’s looking ahead to the consequences both he and EJ may face over the tainted Coriseal.
This week, after George’s death and the laptop being recovered, EJ is in a rage, and he throws something at Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo)’s portrait and hurls a screaming curse at his father. He says, “Damn you.” And then it looks like EJ is about to cry. He is at his wits’ end, and the trouble’s only getting started.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) has a warning for Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord). We’re going to see Steve telling Cat she should never give EJ the benefit of the doubt, because it could be a deadly mistake. And Steve means that literally.
Joy’s Recovery Ruse on DOOL
Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) gives Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) some really shocking news. So, I’m expecting Alex tells Stephanie that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) is getting feeling back in her legs, but Stephanie may remain suspicious and may tell Alex that Joy is now faking recovery because she sensed she was going to be busted. We’ll see if Alex buys into that.
Joy and Tate Donovan Black (Leo Howard) plan a get-together. He knows that Joy is starting to feel her legs now. And Tate also told Joy he would pick up some of her things from her old room at the pub. I’m interested to see if Tate comes across something incriminating.
Joy was flirting with Tate and commented on his abs, and was asking Alex what Tate’s relationship status is. So obviously, Joy is paying lip service, trying to prove she doesn’t want Alex, when we all know she does.
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) reflects on her love life, which is non-existent and has been very disappointing in the past. Xander’s getting back with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) this week, so maybe Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will fall in with Gwen, because Brady likes a bad girl more often than not, and Gwen may want revenge on Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Days of Our Lives: Good News for Chanel and Lani
Thursday, October 29th on Days of Our Lives is when November sweeps kicks off, as Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny get awesome news. Her lumpectomy was successful. It looks like Chanel may finally be at the end of her cancer journey.
And Lani Price (Sal Stowers) celebrates her official return to the Salem PD. But she’s in a conundrum, because her bestie Kristen very surprisingly told Lani the whole entire truth, all the dirt about why she had to flee Salem in the first place. So we will find out if Lani keeps Kristen’s criminal secret or if she comes clean to her boss, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).
DOOL Spoilers: Brady and Sarah’s Serious Chat
Brady and Sarah have a serious chat. So Brady overheard Sarah telling an unconscious Xander she loves him and begging him not to leave her. So Sarah may tell Brady that she wants to give Xander another shot if he wakes up, after he nearly died trying to save her. The guy literally took a bullet for her.
Jada stops by to question Xander, who is not dead and, of course, wakes up the first day of sweeps. That’s exciting. Jada probably wants to get Xander’s official statement, since he did kill a man, even though George shot first and was a monster. Hopefully, Jada’s team has the laptop by now.
And I also wonder if it’ll come up that it’s not legal for Xander to own, handle, or use a gun, because he’s a repeat felon. Xander has been imprisoned several times and convicted several times, even though he shot George clearly in self-defense and to protect Sarah. Technically, Xander could be charged with a weapons offense, but I doubt that’ll come up.
Days Spoilers: Halloween in Salem
Friday, October 30th on Days of Our Lives is Halloween in Salem. And Xander has a deeply moving reunion with the love of his life, Sarah. Of course, Xander never stopped loving her, and Sarah truly loved him, too. Our leaker told us that Xander may demand some terms and conditions around the reunion, like Sarah going to therapy to work on some of her issues, since he’s been working on himself so much.
A howling werewolf tries to scare Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), but she just laughs and tells Foster (Miles Anderson), “Happy Halloween,” since he’s the one in the mask. But then Julie turns the tables and breaks things off with Foster. Remember, she told Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Susanne Rogers) she still feels married to Doug Williams III (Bill Hayes).
Kristen has loose ends to tie off. She’s in the square in a black mask, red gloves, and a cloak, texting somebody, maybe Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). We will find out more about Kristen’s plan for that loose end. And we’ll see if it’s cash money or homicide.
Thomas DiMera (Cole Gersmeyer) and Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) are having big fun on Halloween. Thomas is Dracula, and Chad is Frankenstein. Really cute makeup. EJ is not in costume, but is lurking, drinking, and glaring. So Kristen had better watch out, since she’s in the square, too.
It looks like Thomas has second thoughts about Cat and may be open to his dad, Chad, being friends with her. But then EJ tries to intimidate Chad, but it doesn’t work. I suspect EJ might be warning Chad away from Cat.
Dominic Marino Arrives on DOOL
November 2nd – 6th on Days of Our Lives is the first full week of November sweeps, which hits big with Halloween in Salem continuing. And Monday the 2nd is the stated first air date of Kyle Pryor as Dominic Marino.
However, I suspect he’s not going to be making a public Salem debut just yet, and Marlena’s secret son may creep into Salem, since we know he’s got a black mask in his hand on his first day. So, we may actually catch a glimpse of him on Friday the 30th and then see more on Monday. So, on Friday’s episode, look for a guy in a black mask with, I think, gold detailing.
Marlena left Dominic a message. We’ll see if he comes to her door, or if he waits and reveals himself when everybody’s together, because our leaker said Dominic may barge into Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford)’s celebration of life, because everybody Dominic wants to blindside will all be gathered there.
Days Spoilers: Sophia’s Secret and Xander’s Recovery
We’ll find out what Kristen does with Sophia. Plus, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler) may have another crisis hotline call from Sophia. Both Holly and Mason felt like Sophia was seen and heard recently, but assume it’s just guilty consciences. But I’m guessing it’s not too long before the truth is out.
Xander has to recover, but now he and Sarah have rekindled, so I’m sure that’ll help. They may go into couples therapy. Sarah and Victoria Horton-Kiriakis should be moving back into the Kiriakis mansion. Sarah had already planned to not continue living with Brady, but after their recent split, she’s got to go. Poor Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) lost her mom and her bonus mother figure all in the same week.
Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) enjoy some romance, after Philip was very touched by Gabi’s support at the hospital when he was so worried about Xander.
DOOL Spoilers: What’s on George’s Laptop?
EJ may try to get Cat into bed. I think EJ is feeling territorial about Cat where Chad is concerned, and I expect Cat will avoid hitting the sheets with EJ, and that might make him more paranoid and even more dangerous.
We’ll find out what the Salem Police Department finds on George’s laptop. EJ may be in trouble if George sent him updates and emails on the illegal disposal of the Coriseal. But maybe there’s nothing in writing. It looks like EJ was careful. So maybe they’ll just find proof that George manipulated the patient records. And, you know, EJ may be able to pin this whole mess on dead George and just slither away unscathed.
Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) may return to Salem alongside Dominic, because that’s where her loyalties lie. Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) arrive on November 6th and are there for two episodes that cover Lexie’s memorial and Dominic’s introduction to the DiMeras.
