Lil Durk’s oldest son, Angelo Banks, made quite the entrance at his high school homecoming.
Photos circulating online show the 14-year-old arriving in a white Rolls-Royce with friends.
Angelo dressed for the occasion in a black tuxedo and finished his look with a diamond chain, watch and rings. In another photo, he posed between two luxury vehicles before heading inside.
The night was another big school moment for Angelo, who graduated from junior high earlier this year and entered high school this fall. His mom, Nicole Covone, and India Royale were among the family members who celebrated with him at his May graduation.
Angelo is Durk’s firstborn, and becoming a father at 17 had a major impact on the rapper’s life. During an early interview with The Breakfast Club, Durk recalled being in jail around the time his son was born and realizing he needed to make changes.
“I’m like, hell no, I can’t do that s— no more,” he recalled after being asked how fatherhood changed him.
As Angelo has grown up, Durk has given fans occasional glimpses of his personality and interests. The teen has played youth football, and his dad has been spotted supporting him from the sidelines over the years.
During a 2023 interview, Durk described his eldest son as someone who enjoys his quiet time but becomes much more playful once he feels comfortable.
“Angelo, sneaky. He like me, like quiet time, but when he get comfortable, he talk and play and do what he supposed to do,” he said.
Durk shares Angelo and daughter Bella with Covone. He is also dad to Zayden, Romeo, Du’mier, Skylar and Willow. The rapper considers India Royale’s older daughter, Skylar, one of his own as well.
