Djibril Cisse has rebuked Mike Dean and Wayne Rooney for their historic comments on how Queens Park Rangers played against ManCity in 2012.
In what is arguably the most iconic match of the Premier League era, City lifted their first league title in 44 years as Sergio Aguero scored a last-gasp winner that handed them a 3-2 win after being 2-0 down.

Roberto Mancini’s side beat their city rivals and perennial champions Manchester United to the 2011/12 Premier League crown, whilst QPR arrived at the Etihad Stadium with the risk of relegation.
Fortunately for the west London side, results elsewhere meant they were safe despite the loss, but Dean was baffled by how they played.
Discussion around some of Man City’s Premier League title wins has been dragged into the spotlight following the verdict on their 115 charges for financial breaches.
City were found guilty of the majority of the charges they face and could be hit with unprecedented sanctions.
There have even been calls to strip them of league titles – including the 2011/12 crown that kickstarted their era of dominance.
Former referee Dean took charge of the match with QPR and, speaking on The Overlap Fan Debate last year, he said: “What was strange about it, and we all alluded to what was going on near the end of the game, once QPR found out they were safe…
“I spoke to Clint Hill about this before, once they knew they were safe, the game restarted, Jamie Mackie’s on the pitch celebrating while the game is still going on, because they know they’re safe.
“They make it 2-2, and they just kick it back and give it to them. I said, ‘What’s going on here? Why are they giving the ball back straight away?’ We actually said on the earpiece, ‘Why are they giving the ball back straight away here?'”
United legend Rooney, who scored in their 1-0 win at Sunderland on the same day as they fought for the title, then pointed out that QPR star Cisse celebrated with the joyous City players after the match.
However, Cisse has taken issue with what was said about the famous fixture and furiously responded to a clip of the show on X.

“I’m not gonna let you people talk s*** like that,” the ex-forward, who netted for QPR on the day, said. “Let’s have a proper meeting and talk about it.
“Cause there is now way I gonna accept your b******* anymore. So let’s do it.”
In another post, Cisse added: “Is it our fault if they have lost 5 games in the league and waited the last game to win the league???”
Why did Cisse celebrate with the City players?
As Rooney mentioned, Cisse was seen amongst the celebrating City squad after their dramatic title win was confirmed.
It’s something that would have raised eyebrows, but he has revealed why he chose to join in having just avoided relegation with QPR amid the questions over how they played after learning of their safety.
Speaking to FourFourTwo, he explained: “I’m not going to take this accusation any longer. I was celebrating with Samir Nasri.
“I didn’t celebrate with Mario Balotelli, Sergio Aguero or anybody else. I celebrated with my brother, Samir, who had been a friend of mine for 15 years.
“I was happy for my friend and also that we managed to stay up. I don’t care about Man City.
“My friend finally won the Premier League after many years in England and I was happy for him and also for me. That’s all.”
What is the latest on City and their charges?
City dominated the headlines over the weekend having been found guilty on almost all of their 115 charges for financial rules breaches.

The Premier League are yet to make an official announcement, but it’s understood that City will appeal.
Sanctions remain undecided, and all possibilities remain on the table.
Club chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak released a defiant statement on Saturday and insisted they are confident of proving their innocence.
