Corporate actions: LIC shareholders approve first-ever 1:1 bonus issue; paid-up capital to double by June 12

LIC gets shareholder approval for 1:1 bonus issue. Shareholders will receive 1 new share for every 1 held, doubling the paid-up capital to ~1,264 crore shares (Rs 12,649 crore). To be completed by June 12. First-ever bonus from LIC.

Work in hand : work in hand improved to Rs.1.7 trn (vs Rs.1.5trn last quarter)

Leh Ladakh & Andaman Pardeep : are not included yet in the project list. 

Bid pipeline : Rs.1.1trn (95% bid already floated); Rs.830bn of ISTS and Rs 170bn of intra state 

Commissioning and capex guidance was maintained. It has done better on commissioning and capitalisation guidance for FY26. Stock is trading at 14xFY28E earnings
