‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ to End After 9 Seasons on MTV, Final Season Premiere Date Revealed


Jersey Shore Family Vacation is returning for a ninth and final season on MTV.

The network announced Wednesday (March 4) that the hit series will be coming to an end with an 18-episode farewell season.

This will mark one of the shortest seasons of the sequel reality show, with just the first season having less episodes. Combined with the original series Jersey Shore, the cast has filmed nearly 300 episodes since 2009!

“This farewell season marks the culmination of a franchise that entertained millions with major life milestones, laugh-out-loud chaos, and the unfiltered chemistry that defined an era of reality television,” MTV shares. “The Shore family is going bigger than ever, celebrating the moments that made this franchise a cultural phenomenon.”

In the new season, we’ll see “fist-pump-worthy milestones and unforgettable moments, from pregnancies and baby showers to bachelorette parties, gender reveals, ab reveals, births, birthdays, weddings, and more.”

The entire cast is returning – Angelina Pivarnick, Deena Nicole Cortese, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, DJ Pauly D, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi Giancola, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Vinny Guadagnino.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation‘s ninth and final season will debut on Thursday, May 7th.
