Piccadily Distilleries has launched the Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2026, a Ruby Port Cask single malt whisky bottled at 50 per cent ABV and restricted to 600 individually numbered bottles for the Indian market. The expression will be available from mid-October across Gurugram, Chandigarh and Bengaluru, priced as a premium collectible.
The 2026 edition had already debuted internationally in London, where it was showcased at The Whisky Show. Prior to its India release, it secured Double Gold with 96 points at the USA Spirits Ratings 2026, where it was also named Indian Single Malt Whisky of the Year and Spirit of the Year – India. Additional accolades include Gold at the World Whisky Masters 2026, the New York World Spirits Competition 2026, and the Asia World Spirits Competition 2026 in Singapore. The Diwali Collector’s Edition series has now accumulated 29 international awards in total.
The whisky is made from six-row barley, distilled in copper pot stills and matured in Ruby Port wine casks sourced from Portugal. Tasting notes describe black cherries, wild berries and plums on the nose, with a palate of honeyed fruits, roasted nuts, toffee, vanilla and figs.
This is the fourth annual release in Indri’s festive Collector’s Edition series. The 2023 edition had won the “Best Whisky in the World” title at the Whiskies of the World Awards, a recognition widely credited with elevating Indian single malts to global prominence.
An international duty-free variant at 58.5 per cent ABV will be available at select airports in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, as well as Dubai Duty Free. The packaging was designed by Krsnaa Mehta of India Circus, drawing on Indian miniature art motifs.
