Dua Lipa had an unexpected run-in with one of baseball’s most recognizable fans during a date night with husband Callum Turner at Yankee Stadium.
The “Levitating” singer was spotted chatting with Marlins Man, Laurence Leavy, during the Yankees’ season-ending ALDS loss.
Their brief interaction quickly drew attention online. Leavy later addressed it by praising Lipa in two social media posts.

He also made sure to capture a memento by taking a selfie with Lipa and her husband, which he shared on his X page.

He later explained the interaction on social media, saying he showed them “stuff about Bad Bunny” and talked about standing during “God Bless America.”
Leavy also had nothing but praise for Lipa after the encounter, as seen in the posts he shared.
“I got to tell you. She is super nice. Just married. And I wished her 50 years of happiness. Plus, it was her 1st baseball game and 1st hot dog ever. Special night,” he wrote in one post.
“She is SUPER NICE. Maybe the best celebrity I’ve ever met,” the fan added in another, further praising the singer.

During the outing, Lipa and Turner sat two rows behind home plate, with a perfect view of the field.

The pair also seemed familiar with some fans seated in front of and around them. In one TikTok video, Lipa was seen hugging a man wearing a blue cap while Turner shook his hand.

The Yankee Stadium date wasn’t the first time Lipa and Turner were spotted enjoying a major sporting event together.
In July, the newlyweds attended the 2026 FIFA World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where Spain faced Argentina. The outing marked their first public event as a married couple after their wedding celebrations earlier in the summer.
The pair kept things casual for the match. Lipa wore a white halter-style top, light-wash jeans, and snakeskin heels, while Turner wore a black T-shirt and jeans. They were later photographed leaving the stadium hand in hand, smiling.
