DABABY AND DANILEIGH SETTLE COURT BATTLE OVER DAUGHTER VELOUR

DaBaby and DaniLeigh have settled their court battle over their 5-year-old daughter, Velour Babyleigh Kirk.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the former couple signed a 13-page agreement that requires DaBaby to make monthly child support payments. The amount has not been disclosed, and details of their custody arrangement remain private.

Back in 2024, DaniLeigh filed a paternity case seeking child support for Velour. In her filing, she described herself as her daughter’s primary caregiver.

In response, DaBaby asked for joint custody, saying he had been actively involved in Velour’s life since birth.

DaBaby and DaniLeigh split nearly five years ago in November 2021, when an argument between them played out on Instagram Live.

Despite their rocky history, the pair have come together for several important moments in Velour’s life.

In September, DaBaby and DaniLeigh attended the Rookie Kids: Runway on Broadway event at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City to support Velour.

They also came together in 2023 to celebrate her second birthday with a Moana-themed pool party for family and friends.

In a recent interview with EARMILK, DaniLeigh spoke about how becoming a mom has influenced all aspects of her life.

“Motherhood changed everything for me,” she said. “My daughter is literally my biggest motivation. Everything I do now, I think about how it’s going to affect her and what kind of example I’m setting.”

DaniLeigh also thinks more carefully about the impact her lyrics may have.

“I want her to grow up listening to my music and feeling proud of her mom,” she said. “I want her to hear messages about loving herself, knowing her worth, having faith, and being strong.”

Above all, DaniLeigh hopes Velour understands that difficult experiences do not have to define her.

“More than anything, I want my daughter to know that no matter what life puts you through, you can grow, you can heal, and you can always become a better version of yourself,” she said.
