Asian Doll has some words for Jonathan Wright after he speaks on their friendship and who he felt wasn’t there for him while he was behind bars.

Jonathan Wright Drops Names While Reflecting On Who Allegedly Did And Didn’t Show Up For Him In Prison
Jonathan Wright has been back on the internet since his release from prison in September. According to previous reports from The Shade Room, he was sentenced to one year in prison in December 2025 after a gun charge.
Now that he’s out, the celebrity hairstylist has the internet talking after appearing on the ‘What Now’ podcast. In the interview, Jonathan opened up about who did and didn’t show up for him while he was behind bars.
He named Asian Doll, Keyshia Cole, and Megan Thee Stallion while discussing the people he felt let him down. Jonathan said their lack of support hurt him and that he would have shown up for them if their situations were reversed.
He also mentioned Mellow Rackz as someone who did show up for him during his time in prison.
Asian Doll Entered The Chat With Receipts After Jonathan Wright’s Podcast Comments
Asian Doll quickly responded to Jonathan’s comments.
The Dallas rapper took to her Instagram Story and shared screenshots that appeared to show her reaching out to Jonathan while he was in prison. The messages seem to show her checking in and trying to stay in touch with him.
Asian also pushed back against Jonathan calling her his best friend. She claimed they were never best friends and accused him of “lying” and “clout chasing.”
She questioned why Jonathan mentioned Megan Thee Stallion, claiming the two had not spoken in a long time. Asian also accused Jonathan of naming her, Megan, and Keyshia because he knew their names would bring attention online.
Asian pointed to the support she said she had given Jonathan, including sending him money, and questioned why he would call her out after she had tried to reach him while he was behind bars.
