‘ANTM’ Winner Blasts ‘Joke’ Victoria’s Secret Over Kylie Jenner Casting

Former “America’s Next Top Model” winner Adrianne Curry recently slammed Victoria’s Secret as a “joke” following its 2026 fashion show.

In a video shared online, Curry, who won season 1 of “America’s Next Top Model” in the early 2000s, criticized the company for hiring influencers and mega-celebrities, such as Kylie Jenner, to draw attention rather than making stars as it did in the past.

Kylie is the latest Kardashian-Jenner to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway. Her sister, Kendall Jenner, walked the runway in 2015, 2016, and 2018.

Adrianne Curry Rips Victoria’s Secret, Calling The Brand A ‘Joke’ For Casting Kylie Jenner

PopCrave reshared the clip of Curry speaking about the VS 2026 fashion show and blasted the company for casting the “Life of Kylie” star.

“Nothing against Kylie Jenner, you’re not a f—ing model,” she said. “You don’t have a model’s body. I don’t know why they put her in the mega bra. That’s for the belle of the ball. That’s for the top Victoria’s Secret angel. That is like winning homecoming queen, and they just give it to a Jenner? Victoria’s Secret is a joke.”

Curry didn’t stop there. The former reality star argued that working with Victoria’s Secret is no longer seen as the apex of a model’s career. She said that in 2010, walking for the brand meant something. “Now it’s meaningless,” she said.

According to PEOPLE and Vogue, Kylie sported the brand’s $50 million, four-pound, diamond-covered fantasy bra during the Sunday, October 18 show. The fashion piece boasts over 4,400 natural diamonds and a 75.54-carat-radiant-cut Fancy Vivid yellow diamond.

Adam Selman, EVP and Chief Creative Officer at Victoria’s Secret, discussed Kylie’s casting and said she was the right fit. Besides being a “cultural powerhouse,” Selman said Kylie “extends beyond fashion, beyond culture, beyond TV, beyond one singular thing.”

“That’s the exact same thing that we do. Like, the show is so big, it’s true entertainment, and I think that she is a great catalyst for that. She’s really created her own culture, which — how many people can say that?” he continued.

Elsewhere in her video, Curry slammed the women’s fashion brand for flocking to major celebrities to draw attention to themselves.

“Victoria’s Secret used to make megastars, not have to rely on virtue signaling and other’s people’s fame to make it, so f-ck em,” she said.

She continued, “Now [the brand] has to rely on elderly Victoria’s Secret models because they’re continuously not making new Victoria’s Secret models because they’re slapping Kylie Jenner up there.”

Kylie isn’t the first of her family to model for Victoria’s Secret. In 2015, her big sister, Kendall, made her VS debut alongside her pal, Gigi Hadid. Kendall also appeared in the 2016 show before taking a brief hiatus and later returning in 2018.

Her last appearance, almost a decade ago, featured the young model strutting in a rocker-style lingerie look that came with a lace bra and underwear. The look also included a cropped turtleneck and tons of sparkling jewels.

Victoria’s Secret Has Welcomed New Faces Over The Years

According to The Blast, Victoria’s Secret has welcomed a handful of new faces over the years, from social media influencers to professional athletes.

Last year, WNBA superstar Angel Reese made her VSFS debut after manifesting her collaboration with the brand the year before.

“It’s such a surreal and full-circle moment — just last year I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking down the runway, and now I get to return as an Angel. This will be an unforgettable night that I’ll forever be grateful for,” she said.

She added, “I hope I can inspire women and girls everywhere and remind them that we can dominate in our field but also chase our goals outside of it — and for me, that’s getting to walk down fashion and entertainment’s most iconic runway.”
