Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has on Monday directed officials to work on integrating all major industrial parks and economic regions in the State with logistics networks.
At a review meeting held in Amaravati on Monday, the Chief Minister reviewed the development of Product Perfection Clusters across the Visakhapatnam, Amaravati and Tirupati economic regions and discussed modalities for developing industrial and chemical parks under the Government of India’s BHAVYA (Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana) scheme.
He also directed officials to prepare plans for setting up a Rare Earth Mineral Park in 2026–27, developing the East Coast Industrial Corridor, establishing a container manufacturing cluster, and setting up around 175 MSME parks across the State.
The logistics integration must align with product perfection in industrial parks, he said, adding that essential infrastructure such as water, power, cold storage and warehousing should be provided to improve efficiency.
Stating that achieving global quality standards was essential for local products to access regional, national and international markets, the Chief Minister directed the officials to encourage MSME units to meet international benchmarks.
Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) should be set up within industrial clusters to extend benefits to the farming community, according to an official release.
