Tottenham have completed the signing of ex-Aston Villa starlet Cole Ramsey.
The 18-year-old will join Spurs’ Under-21 squad after bringing his 13-year association with the Midlands club to an end earlier this summer.

The midfielder, younger brother of Newcastle’s Jacob Ramsey and Burnley’s Aaron Ramsey, will link up with U21 boss Wayne Burnett as he takes the next step in his development.
Ironically, his final game for Aston Villa came in the U18s clash against Tottenham in late April.
Ramsey underwent a trial with Leeds United in May and featured for the Whites in a 7-4 win over Burnley at the club’s training ground.
But his immediate future will be in north London and the opportunity to stake his claim for a spot in Roberto De Zerbi’s senior squad.
A statement on Tottenham’s website read: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Cole Ramsey.
“The 18-year-old attacking midfielder joins following his departure from Aston Villa’s Academy and will link up with our Under-21 squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.”
Upon his Aston Villa exit, Ramsey took to Instagram to thank the club’s supporters for their support during his time at Villa Park.
He wrote: “After 13 years at Aston Villa it’s time for a new chapter. This club has given me memories for life, I’ve met the best people and had moments I’ll never forget.
“Thank you to every staff member, coach, player and everyone else who’s been a part of my experience. Onto the next chapter. Only the best to come. Rambo.”
The post garnered 28,000 likes and included a message containing three emojis from Aston Villa and England star Morgan Rogers.

And he posted again on his Instagram account on Tuesday, this time with a picture of him signing his Tottenham contract.
He added the caption: “Happy to have joined this amazing club @spursofficial. Can’t wait to get started.”
Tott-ing up players
Tottenham have been the Premier League’s most active club in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool’s Andy Robertson was the first through the door on a free transfer with fellow free agents Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka also joining.
Spurs then splashed the cash on Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton in a £52million deal before snapping up Mateus Fernandes for £85m and Sandro Tonali for £100m.
And there could be more to come with Tottenham understood to be preparing an £85m offer for exciting Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi.
