Hey, Days of Our Lives fans. We’ve got detailed spoilers for the two weeks starting October 26th, with Dominic Marino (Kyle Pryor) sneaking into Salem while plotting how to make the grandest entrance possible. Plus, Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) shocks Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) once he wakes up from his shooting trauma.
Also, in the two weeks of October 26th – November 6th, there’s the official kickoff to November sweeps, with shocking secrets revealed, lives at risk, and a villain falling.
Days of Our Lives: Sarah Fights to Save Xander
Monday, October 26th on Days of Our Lives, Sarah is hustling to save her ex-husband Xander’s life after he took a bullet for her. Sarah is yelling Xander’s name as she applies pressure to his gushing gut wound. George O’Halloran (Michael Rose) may be dead or not worth Sarah’s time. Unfortunately, if George dies, that will really help out EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Heartbreaking news hits Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and this could be him finding out that Sarah was involved in a shooting, and he may panic, or Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) may have more issues after her second surgery. Also, Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) share a sweet moment as their reunion is officially on.
EJ in the Hot Seat on DOOL
EJ is in the hot seat and interrogated by Detective Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). We know everyone suspects EJ in Steve Johnson‘s (Stephen Nichols) tasing attack while he was staking out George’s house. But Steve was attacked from behind, so he didn’t see who did it.
But EJ has some fresh bloodstains on his white shirt cuff. He’d better hope Shawn doesn’t see them. So we’ll find out if EJ got messy when he attacked Steve, or maybe the DiMera bad guy hurt somebody else.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has advice for granddaughter Sydney DiMera (Sidney Malakeh), and I wonder if she’s going to tell Grandma Marlena about her suspicions that Dante Vitali (Franco LoPresti) might have targeted her and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and may be closer to Dominic than he admitted.
Days of Our Lives: A Surprising Call to the Hotline
Tuesday, October 27th on Days of Our Lives, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) is there to comfort Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). He’s worried sick about Xander after the shooting. It looks like he may be on his deathbed, because Xander also gets forgiveness from Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Susanne Rogers). So, she may be thanking an unconscious Xander for saving Sarah.
A surprising caller dials the crisis hotline as Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is doing training with Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler). They’re in headsets. It looks like Holly is in Mason’s room above the pub. Holly listens in as Mason says, “Tell me why you called today.” And it is Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) who says, “I just needed someone to talk to.”
So, it looks like Holly may recognize Sophia’s voice, and Mason should too, because he took several long calls from her before her alleged suicide. Holly and Mason may freak out when they realize Sophia is not so dead after all. Also, Marlena hesitates about reaching out to Dominic. She needs answers, but isn’t sure about contacting him.
Elsewhere, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) makes an off-the-cuff admission to her bestie, Lani Price (Sal Stowers), but I doubt Kristen confesses why EJ’s after her. And Kristen may tell Lani a vague version of events.
Johnny Squares Off with EJ on DOOL
Wednesday, October 28th on Days of Our Lives, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) squares off with his dad, EJ, and Johnny has to face what lies ahead for both him and EJ. Johnny may get immunity for his crimes, but EJ could face time in Statesville.
And this week, EJ’s in a rage, throws something at the portrait of his dad, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), and screams, “Damn you.” After that fit of rage, it looks like EJ’s about to cry. Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) gets cautioned by Steve, and he tells her, “Don’t give EJ the benefit of the doubt. It could cost you your life.”
Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) gives Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) stunning news. So, Alex may share that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins)’s getting feelings back in her legs. Tate Donovan Black (Leo Howard) and Joy make plans together, with more therapy now that she’s faking recovery. And Joy may flirt with Tate again.
And Joy may basically be trying to convince everybody she’s not into Alex and was legit paralyzed, but is now getting better. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) thinks about her non-existent love life. I’m hoping to see her with Dominic when he gets to town, because they both hate EJ, and they both love scheming.
Days Sweeps Starts with Good News for Chanel
Thursday, October 29th on Days of Our Lives is the very first day of November sweeps, and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny get fantastic news. Her lumpectomy was successful. She’s got clear margins. It looks like Chanel’s cancer journey is done. It’s also time to celebrate for Lani, who’s got her shield, gun, and job back at the Salem PD.
Brady and Sarah have a frank discussion. I expect she tells Brady that seeing Xander nearly die made things clear, and Sarah has to follow her heart. Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) stops by to question Xander, who is clearly awake by then. And obviously, it’s self-defense, but Jada has to ask the right questions.
Halloween in Salem on Days of Our Lives
Friday, October 30th on Days of Our Lives, Xander and Sarah have a deeply moving reunion, but I doubt they jump right back into bed or marriage. I think it’s an admission that they want to see if they can work things out to be together.
A howling werewolf shows up at the book club bookstore to scare Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), but she laughs. She knows who it is and says, “Happy Halloween, Foster.” Unfortunately, it’s more tricks than treats when Julie dumps Foster (Miles Anderson). She still feels married to Doug Williams III (Bill Hayes), as she told Maggie recently.
Kristen has unresolved matters to take care of, even though she told Brady she is leaving Salem. She’s in the square in disguise in a black mask and cloak and is texting somebody. Hopefully, she’ll pay Sophia off and both will leave town, but that seems like a long shot.
Chad’s Halloween Plans on DOOL
Thomas DiMera (Cole Gersmeyer) and Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) celebrate Halloween in the square. Thomas is dressed up as a vampire. Chad’s wearing a cool Frankenstein costume with full makeup in Horton Town Square. It looks like Thomas is having second thoughts about Cat, so he may be more open to Chad being friends with Cat.
But now she’s supposedly dating EJ, while Chad’s been dating Belle Black (Martha Madison). However, with Chad and Belle possibly sharing Dominic as a brother, they may decide that it’s just a little too weird that their family trees are overlapping. So, they may not continue dating each other, but we’ll see.
And EJ is completely unhinged this week. We’re going to see him brooding and sipping on a cocktail at the Halloween celebration, glaring at everybody in the square who’s having fun. He runs into Chad, who won’t allow EJ to intimidate him. So, he may be warning Chad away from Cat, and EJ may tell Chad that she belongs to him.
Days of Our Lives: Dominic Makes His Debut
Now, November 2nd – 6th on Days of Our Lives, November sweeps is fully underway. It ends on November 25th, by the way. Halloween continues in Horton Town Square, but we maybe should call it Horton Town Scare, because of some villains in Salem. First, Kristen’s lurking and up to something. Plus, EJ’s there looking for trouble.
And Dominic Marino makes his Salem debut officially on Monday, but we could see him lurking in a mask at the end of Friday’s October 30th episode, carrying over onto Monday. I suspect Dominic sneaks into Salem with Halloween as his cover. And he’s even got a black mask for a disguise.
Marlena may get an unexpected guest at her door. We’ll see if Dominic comes right away to see his birth mother, or if he lurks out of sight and then makes a big, splashy entrance at a family event, because we’ve heard chatter it’ll be at Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford)’s celebration of life at the pub.
Kristen ties off the loose end that is Sophia. But does she do it with blood or with money? Xander has a long recovery ahead, but Sarah is now at his side again. However, he may shock her with some terms and conditions about their reunion. EJ may try to take Cat to bed again, but I’m guessing she’ll find an excuse to stay out of his sheets. With Steve’s warning in mind, Cat is playing a dangerous game with EJ.
Holly may alert the cops that Sophia called the hotline, is not dead, and is back in Salem. And Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) arrive on November 6th, ahead of Lexie’s memorial the following week.
