Remy Ma had the cutest date for New York Fashion Week: her 7-year-old daughter, Reminisce MacKenzie.
The mother-daughter duo sat front row at an event over the weekend, with Remy stepping out in head-to-toe green while Reminisce kept it cool in a denim-on-denim look with a white top and sneakers.
Fashion seems to be right up Reminisce’s alley. Remy has previously shared that her little girl already knows exactly what she wants when it comes to her clothes, hair and accessories.
“She literally picks her own hairstyles & her own clothes, down to the accessories… we be in the crib arguing lol but it always comes out cute; my lil girly girl,” Remy once shared.
Remy shares Reminisce with estranged husband Papoose, and while their divorce has played out publicly, the rapper has said they remain focused on keeping their daughter happy.
“When you have an unproblematic woman like yourself involved. I don’t have no problems, I call, he comes, she good. My baby’s happy,” she told TMZ late last year. “As far as it comes to birthday parties and stuff like that, I do a birthday party over the top every year. You ain’t gotta worry about, like, all you gotta do is show up.”
Papoose did just that when Reminisce celebrated her seventh birthday in December. Remy threw their daughter an elaborate McDonald’s-themed party, and her dad stopped by to celebrate.
“Happy born day Big Sugar AKA Snook AKA #thegoldenchild Daddy loves you,” Papoose wrote alongside a photo with the birthday girl.
After the party, Remy made it clear that she wants Reminisce to remain focused on being a kid.
“All she knows is LOVE and I plan to keep it that way; I want her to be a KID for as long as possible!” she wrote.
